Well, another week, another lull in posting. But….this week I have been reading my little heart out! Thanks as always to Sam at Taking on a World of Words for hosting the meme that keeps me organized and brings me back time and time again!
What Did I Recently Finish Reading?
Whew!! Thanks to my Dewey’s 24-hour-Readathon I set aside a huge chunk of time this weekend to read. I finished Obsidio (amazing – a thousand stars for the whole trilogy), Here Be Monsters (loved loved loved this weird middle grade book!), Harry Potter and the Cursed Child (which I really enjoyed…far more than I thought I would) and Frankenstein (I have a lot of thoughts on this book).
I may have been another week without posting, but I finally feel like I am back in the swing of things on reading and it feels so very very good.
What am I Currently Reading?
Not only did I finish four books last week, I am nearly finished with two more and progress is being made on The Art and Science of Hand Reading. I hope all of you will forgive me this blatant bragging but I have been in a reading slump a bit here and there (and there again) and this is the first time in a while I feel like I am reading at my normal level. It is like running into an old friend – so comforting. I want this feeling for everyone.
What Will I Read Next?
If I can finish all of my currently reading books I will finished with my Frightening Good Reads list. That means I can actually (without guilt!) turn to my NonFiction November Reads. I am so excited about all of the wonderful NonFiction books I have lined up for the next month!
Tell me, please!
What is on your WWW?
Enjoy your reading!
I’m currently reading wicked fox and sea witch rising!

Yay for being out of the reading slump!
I’m interested to hear your thoughts on Frankenstein. A friend did a live reading from it at a Halloween party this week and made me think I should pick up the whole book.

There are whole sections that are absolutely gorgeous and poignant. I absolutely hated Victor Frankenstein but adored the monster.

It seems like you did really well with Frightening Good Reads (and I’m glad you’re pulling out of your slump). I did … okay. Much better than I thought! I’m looking forward to actually wrapping it up and seeing for sure how I did, though. xD
Here’s my WWW post.

Thank you for participating in FGR! No one is more relieved than I am that my reading slump is (hopefully) at an end. Now, I just need to blog more.
I can’t wait to see how your month went!

Thanks for hosting it! I had a lot of fun. :3
I need to work on the blogging more thing, too. xD Or, specifically, getting my book reviews out in a timely manner lol.

I’m so happy that you participated! Thanks again.
As for the blogging and reviews…I think I’m dozens of books behind. I feel like this all the time! Maybe my productivity book will help.

I hope it does. If you learn any juicy tips or tricks (you know, like how to summon brownies and goblins to finish your work for you or something) do share. 😉
