WWW Wednesday: November 11, 2020

WWW Wednesday is the post I look forward to every week! Thanks, as always to Sam @ Taking on a World of Words and this wonderful WWW post to keep me going. If you want to join me, just answer the three questions below about how your reading is going this week and leave a link to your post in the comments for others to admire. Don’t forget to check all the other participants. It is the #1 way I keep my TBR overflowing!

The Three W’s Are:

What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

WHAT AM I CURRENTLY READING?

The Canterbury Tales continues! I am also continuing to read D-Day Girls by Sarah Rose. I had to switch to my physical copy from the audiobook because I was struggling a little bit to keep all of the people straight. This is another great general book about women spies and I am enjoying it. I have also cracking into What If? Serious Scientific Answers to Absurd Hypothetical Questions by Randall Munroe. This is such a perfectly ridiculous book. Finally, I borrowed a copy of The Trauma Cleaner: One Woman’s Extraordinary Life in the Business of Death, Decay, and Disaster by Sarah Kranostein and I am obsessed. As you can see I am knee deep in NonFiction November!

WHAT DID I RECENTLY FINISH READING?

Technically, I haven’t finished A Mindfulness Guide for the Frazzled yet because I want to try out the 6 week mindfulness course but I have finished reading the information. I plan to review it when I finish the course but shuffled it into finished on my goodreads. Does that make sense? No, probably not. But, it is 2020 and nothing really tracks so let’s just move along.

For Believathon, I finished Dragonwatch, Master of the Phantom Isle by Brandon Mull. This is the third in the Drangonwatch series and my full review is here. I liked it but I really hope book four have more character development and less run run run, briefly explain magical item, run run run run.

I also finished Gloom Town by Ronald L. Smith and was so surprised by the middle grade story. I just love friends that work together and Rory and Tillie were fantastic. My full review is here.

Finally, I finished The Honey-Don’t List by Christine Lauren. This was sweet but I probably won’t be reviewing simply because I’m in the middle of NonFiction November and Believathon.

WHAT WILL I READ NEXT?

I want to keep my Believathon momentum moving right along so I will pick a middle grade book. I am itching to grab either Greetings from Witness Protection! or The Mystwick School of Musicraft. I’ll end up reading them both before the end of the month but I just don’t know which one to start with first!

Tell me, please! What’s on your WWW?

  1. The Trauma Cleaner sounds really interesting and like something I would really like. I definitely need to add to my TBR. I’ve been wanting to read The Honey-Don’t List, hopefully soon. My sister loves the Fablehaven books and last year I bought her the first three Dragonwatch books. I’ve been wanting to read more from Brandon Mull since I did read the first Fablehaven book and liked it. Just never got around to the others. I hope you enjoy your upcoming reads! They sound really good.

  2. Gloom Town looks so cute! I might just have to see if I can find a copy. I think The Mystwick School of Musicraft sounds fabulous, too! I hope you’re enjoying Believathon. I was going to participate, but I just didn’t have time. I’m thinking maybe next year. 😉 Enjoy your reading!
