WWW Wednesday: December 22, 2021 and Blogmas

Thanks, as always, to Sam @ Taking on a World of Words for this meme that keeps me focused on my current piles instead of looking at the 500 things I have on my Goodreads TBR.

If you want to join in the fun, just answer the three questions below about how your reading is going this week and leave a link to your post in the comments for others to admire. Don’t forgt to check all the other participants. It is the #1 way I keep my TBR overflowing!

Blogmas has been put on the far far back shelf as I tried to wrap up all my middle grade reading for the Cybil Awards round one. I finally finished this week!

CURRENTLY READING

I only have a few pages left in A Mouse Called Mika and…goodness. This is such a sweet little story.

COVID’s return (with a vengeance) has me returning to my inspirational WWII female spies and codebreakers. I am nearly 20% of the way into Three Ordinary Girls and am completely fascinated.

I also got my hands on Kate Quinn’s The Huntress. I have been fascinated by The Night Witches since the first time I heard about them. I know people have knocked this book for being too long but I cannot wait to get into the story.

Finally, I started reading Gold Diggers. I need a change in pace after all of those lovely middle grade books.

WHAT DID I RECENTLY FINISH?

If you haven’t read Sarah Andersen’s comic books, the Sarah’s Scribbles collection never fails to make me laugh again and again. Oddball was no exception. You get me Sarah, totally and completely.

I also finished The Rose Code by Kate Quinn. What a rollercoaster! I was sitting all alone in my room shushing no one because I was so panicked about how this one would end. Loved it. Loved the characters. Obsessed with my lady codebreakers!

I haven’t decided yet! Something that brings joy!

Tell me, please! What’s on your WWW?
