2021 Reading Resolution Update: A Failure to Track

Two of my three remaining reading resolutions were to read specific Nonfiction books and to show my library love. How did I do? We will never know because I failed at tracking!

NonFiction Reader Challenge from BookdOut

I loved this challenge when I picked it out last year. Shellyrae @ BookdOut put out these great prompts to get you reading different kinds of NonFiction. You didn’t even have to hit all the categories! I love a challenge that it inspirational but also welcoming like this one. I probably read 8 / 12 of the prompts but I failed to keep track of the reading. Could I put it back together using Goodreads? Probably. But I really kinda just want to move forward into 2022 and try to do better this time around!

Library Love Challenge from Angels Guilty Pleasures

Similarly, this challenge is supposed to inspire you to enjoy your local library. Which I do! In fact, all of my audiobooks come from my online library via Libby. Angela @ Angels Guilty Pleasures and Anne @ Books of My Heart have set up benchmarks for success but the overall theme is to use your library. I know I went to the library every week (thank you for being open local branch!). But I failed again to track which books came from my shelves and which ones were borrowed. I could go back through my books and figure it out but, once again, I am looking only forward to 2022.

Certainly, as I put together my goals and intentions for 2022, one of them needs to be tracking my reading better!

Tell me, please! How do you track your reading?
