2018’s NonFiction November vastly altered the way I think about nonfiction. I have always loved learning. Always. But, prior to last year, nonfiction wasn’t something I thought of as an escape from reality. Now, nonfiction falls squarely in the “get to” pile of reading rather than the “should.”
Just take a look at the fabulous collection of nonfiction books that are waiting to be read this month! All of these are from my huge physical TBR shelf with the exception of Haben.
These books form my November reading list along with the remaining Harry Potter books I want to read or re-read for one of my 2019 challenges. Here are the books I have remaining for that challenge.
All in all, it promises to be a very interesting month!
Tell me, please!
Do you enjoy nonfiction? If so, what kind of nonfiction is your favorite?
It seems that memoirs are my favourite non fiction reads. I do buy others – history, health etc – but it’s the memoirs that actually get read

I love memoirs too. I am hoping to have time to read both of Julie Andrew’s books this month and possibly also Elton John’s. The memoirs are usually excellent audiobooks too!

I’ve read a few reviews of the latest Julie Andrew’s biography . I think they were generally found to be interesting (especially how she trained her voice to perfection) though a bit too ‘nice’.

I’m comfortable with too “nice.” Cary Elwes’ book As You Wish had similar criticisms but he could easily have ruined one of my favorite books and movies by adding negativity. But, perhaps it is just washed clean and not honest…either way, I cannot wait to read it! I only wish I could get it on audiobook.

Great TBR! I do enjoy reading non fiction every once in a while, although I’ve been seriously slacking this year… I’m hoping to at least read I’ll Be Gone In The Darkear before the end of this y and maybe This Is Going To Hurt and Becoming if I have time. Good luck with Non Fiction November!

I love your nonfiction choices! Both of the memoirs are somewhere on my TBR, I’ll look forward to seeing if you enjoy them or not.
