October Reading Plan: Frighteningly Good Reads 2020

Last month was the first time I tried this and, honestly, it worked for me. I’m not sure that this type of plan would have worked last year but I will take all the grounding I can here in 2020. Every year I have spent October reading Frighteningly Good Reads and this October will be no different. First, I need to finish these books that I started in September and then head directly to my FGRs.

FRIGHTENINGLY GOOD READS 2020

I invite anyone who wants to join up to come on board with Frighteningly Good Reads. In January I had massive plans to make this October a true social event. It turns out that a pandemic will suck the energy right out of you! All I can say is that if you want to read some spooky books this month and chat about it with me – please do!

BOOKS ON MY GOODREADS TO BE READ

BOOKS ON MY PHYSICAL SHELF

Get ready – this is a bit embarrassing. As you will see, I have a LOT of middle grade books to choose from this month!

Tell me, please! What’s on your reading plan for October?

  1. I love middle grade witchy books! These look amazing; the Girl and the Witch’s Garden and Charmed have such delightful covers. Awesome selection for October TBR. I am trying to read Mexican Gothic too this month, looking forward to it! If you are looking for a quick read, The Crucible is so good and filled with information but reads really quickly since it is a play. Hope you enjoy! Happy reading ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. I’m excited to participate again this year, I just have to clean up what I’ve already started in September too. I’ll have a post up soon about what I hope to get through this month ๐Ÿ™‚

  3. I missed this announcement post! I’m trying to get something together for this, excited that you’re doing it again despite the energy-sucking mess of 2020. I really liked The Lady in the Cellar. Looking forward to hearing what you think of it!
