ANYTHING CAN BRING CHRISTMAS JOY

There is absolutely no need to bankrupt yourself decorating your space for Christmas. Nor will I encourage people to head out to the stores unnecessarily for supplies. Instead, I have been taking a look around my house for simple things that can be repurposed as decorations. I really love when people take their book collection and make a whole huge tree out of it but, short of a complete book shelf collapse, I think I would cry when it was time to re-shelve them all.

However, I had a fun time making this simple tree as a tabletop decoration for my dresser! I really (really) wish I had a Dr. Who Weeping Angle Funko-Pop for a “tree” topper but alas, I do not. Still, there is no human quite as close to angelic as Mr. Rogers and so, up he went!

I know it may seem silly but this is just another way I am taking control over my own Christmas joy!

Tell me, please! What simple decorating do you do for Christmas that brings you joy?
