5 On My TBR: January 11, 2021

#5OnMyTBR is a bookish meme hosted by E. @Local Bee Hunter’s Nook and you can learn more about it in the post here. It occurs every Monday when we post about 5 books on our TBR. This week’s post is Graphic Novels!

I’m a big fan of graphic novels and, as excited as I am to share this list with you, I can hardly wait to see what the other participants have on their lists. I need more graphic novels in 2021!

I wanted to get all three books in the March series before I started reading them. After losing John Lewis in 2020 the other books were impossible to find. In 2021 I am not making such silly roadblocks to my reading and I will just start with what I have.

I saw When Stars are Scattered by Victoria Jamieson and Omar Mohamed in the window of a bookstore. I loved Roller Girl so I knew I wanted to pick up anything she wrote. This story of two refugee brothers promises to be excellent.

In Love & Pajamas by Catana Chetwynd is a series of comics about being yourself in love. I’m drawn to the illustration style and thrilled that I have an ARC copy. I just need to get going on enjoying it already!

Finally, I have both Teen Titans, Raven and Teen Titans, Beast Boy loves Raven on my TBR. I recently read Teen Titans, Beast Boy and I am excited to read Raven’s story and how these two come together.

Tell me, please! What graphic novels are on your TBR?

  1. I hope you will like these! I haven’t read any of these. I really want to continue with reading Middlewest and Something is Killing the Children, I think I resd the first volume of both!
