Oooh, I do so love looking at everyone’s reading plans at the beginning of the month. I can see everyone organizing their ARCs, new releases, personal goals etcetera. What are my reading plans for the month? I’m not making any!
*cue maniacal laughter*
I started the year with plans to read with Joy and to allow mood reading to count for something and I want to start my do-over today with the same goals in mind. This month, I hope to embrace the pure Joy of reading. My reading life had stated to look more like (at best) a faux academic plan and (at worst) a dreaded summer reading assignment list. If I put a book on the list it was as good as dead. When I get over this slump maybe (maybe) I will make more plans, but for right now I’ll just be reading whatever I want.
I also want to celebrate the mood reader in me and in everyone else. I get it, we all want to be more than just readers and so we make plans. But, sometimes, the uncharted road trip is the most fun. If you want to join me on this mood reading adventure, please do so! The only other thing I hope to do is bring together other mood readers this month.
I did spring for a new bullet journal for this little March re-do adventure of mine. Her name is Goldie and I hope to focus some of my anal-retentive tenancies toward bullet journalling instead of trying to force it into my reading.

Tell me, please! How is your reading going this year? Any tips or tricks for bullet journalling you might want to share?
I hope you have a great mood resding month!

I love that you’re mood reading! I was going to this month but the planner in me got in the way. I love your bullet journal illustration as well!

Thank you! I felt embarrassed to put my bullet journal out there but I figured, “who here will judge me?” I mean, this isn’t Twitter. Hah! Happy reading!
