Perhaps it is the weather or the variety of my schedule this week but Wednesday’s arrival felt like a bit of a surprise this week. Thanks, as always to Sam @ Taking on a World of Words and this wonderful WWW post to keep me semi-organized. If you want to join me, just answer the three questions below about how your reading is going this week and leave a link to your post in the comments for others to admire. Don’t forgt to check all the other participants. It is the #1 way I keep my TBR overflowing!
WHAT AM I CURRENTLY READING?
I’ve made no progress on Holy Sh*t because I misplaced it. Sadly, I found it yesterday so I will crack back into it this week
The Great Believers by Rebecca Makkai continues to consume me. I am 33% of the way in and the library has let me know my audiobook needs to be returned in two days. How I am going to listen to 12 hours of this wonderful story in two days? Will I finally use this as an excuse to clean my floorboards?!
I did start The Art of Showing Up by Rachel Wilkerson Miller. I’m in the first section on getting to know yourself and loving it. It is not advice so much as understanding that the author is trying to impart – understand yourself so you can show up for yourself in the right way. That makes sense to me!
WHAT DID I RECENTLY FINISH READING?
I only finished Is it Just Me? by Miranda Hart this week. I laughed and loved the whole book. My full review is here!
I did also manage to finally write a review of Quintessanse by Jess Redman and you can find it here. I just can’t stop thinking about that little middle grade book.
WHAT WILL I READ NEXT?
After the collapse of my reading and writing in February I am determined to not over-plan. I will pick something that brings me joy!
Tell me, please! What’s on your WWW?
I am curious about Is It Just Me? Enjoy your reading, and here’s MY WWW POST
I think it will be probably be good to not overplan your reading. My reading life is consumed with book club and buddy reads, and sometimes I just want to be able to pick up a book from my shelf that I just feel like reading at that time. Is It Just Me? is definitely going on my TBR list. Have a great week! My WWW: https://greatmorrisonmigration.wordpress.com/2021/03/31/www-wednesdays-march-31-2021/
I hadn’t heard of Is It Just Me? before. It sounds hilarious!
Enjoy your reading!
I hope you’re able to finish The Great Believers. I’ve seen so many good reviews for it. Good luck with all your reads! 😊

Me too! I am switching out my fall / winter laundry for my Spring / Summer stuff while I listen. It is so so good.

The Art of Showing Up sounds really good! I feel like showing up is talked about a lot in self-help circles in general but how to do that isn’t discussed as much.
