WWW Wednesday: March 24, 2021

Perhaps it is the weather or the variety of my schedule this week but Wednesday’s arrival felt like a bit of a surprise this week. Thanks, as always to Sam @ Taking on a World of Words and this wonderful WWW post to keep me semi-organized. If you want to join me, just answer the three questions below about how your reading is going this week and leave a link to your post in the comments for others to admire. Don’t forgt to check all the other participants. It is the #1 way I keep my TBR overflowing!

WHAT AM I CURRENTLY READING?

I’ve made no progress on Holy Sh*t because I misplaced it. Sadly, I found it yesterday so I will crack back into it this week

The Great Believers by Rebecca Makkai continues to consume me. I am 33% of the way in and the library has let me know my audiobook needs to be returned in two days. How I am going to listen to 12 hours of this wonderful story in two days? Will I finally use this as an excuse to clean my floorboards?!

I did start The Art of Showing Up by Rachel Wilkerson Miller. I’m in the first section on getting to know yourself and loving it. It is not advice so much as understanding that the author is trying to impart – understand yourself so you can show up for yourself in the right way. That makes sense to me!

WHAT DID I RECENTLY FINISH READING?

I only finished Is it Just Me? by Miranda Hart this week. I laughed and loved the whole book. My full review is here!

I did also manage to finally write a review of Quintessanse by Jess Redman and you can find it here. I just can’t stop thinking about that little middle grade book.

WHAT WILL I READ NEXT?

After the collapse of my reading and writing in February I am determined to not over-plan. I will pick something that brings me joy!

Tell me, please! What’s on your WWW?
