Did you all know that you have crystals in your ears that maintain your equilibrium? And, if those (previously unknown) crystals get out of wack it can make you so dizzy reading is impossible? That’s what happened here and, joyously, it was an easy fix that took mere moments. If only I hadn’t ignored it for so long or been reluctant to see someone for weeks… Big claps for the physical therapists of this world!
Thanks, as always to Sam @ Taking on a World of Words and this wonderful WWW post to keep me semi-organized. If you want to join me, just answer the three questions below about how your reading is going this week and leave a link to your post in the comments for others to admire. Don’t forgt to check all the other participants. It is the #1 way I keep my TBR overflowing!
WHAT AM I CURRENTLY READING?
This week I have bookclub and the book choice is To Sleep in a Sea of Stars by Christopher Paolini. Book club is in 3 days and I have……750 pages to read. Gulp.
I am listening to The Beast’s Heart by Leife Shallcross. Obviously, it is a re-telling of Beauty and the Beast but from the Beast’s perspective. I stumbled across it on a WWW Wednesday post more than a year ago, promptly bought the book and filed it away. I am listening to the audiobook until I finish with Paolini and then I hope to pop over and finish on my physical copy. So far, it is excellent!
I am a few chapters from finishing Make it Stick, The Science of Successful Learning. If you are interested in habits or learning this book is easy to read and full of interesting tips and tricks on how to make something you are learning stay in your brain.
WHAT DID I RECENTLY FINISH READING?
After missing six weeks of posting I have managed to read one or two things but, it feels silly putting them all in here.
WHAT WILL I READ NEXT?
It will certainly be one of these books that I picked up during Indie Bookstores day. Cute cute and cute seem to be my theme!
Tell me, please! What’s on your WWW?
A friend of mine has vertigo, and I’d never heard about the crystals until she had therapy. Who knew? Happy Reading!

I am currently reading the Bookshop of Second Chances. I don’t know how I feel about it so far. It feels like a bit of a Jane Austen retelling. I think it is fun but not gripping. Have a great week! My WWW: https://greatmorrisonmigration.wordpress.com/2021/05/12/www-wednesdays-may-12-2021/

I had labyrinthitis years ago and they thought it might have been crystals. Glad you got it sorted out so easily!
