WWW Wednesday: December 8, 2021 and Blogmas

Thanks, as always, to Sam @ Taking on a World of Words for this meme that keeps me focused on my current piles instead of looking at the 500 things I have on my Goodreads TBR.

If you want to join in the fun, just answer the three questions below about how your reading is going this week and leave a link to your post in the comments for others to admire. Don’t forgt to check all the other participants. It is the #1 way I keep my TBR overflowing!

Blogmas continues as well. The first year I thought I had to post something different and Christmas related for each day but this year I am just enjoying the ride. Anyone else doing Blogmas this year?

CURRENTLY READING

I am still working on The Many Meanings of Meilan. Lots of feelings in this middle grade and, truthfully, I am not always up for all the feels during the holiday season.

I am nearly finished with Mastermind: How to Think Like Sherlock Holmes. I am really enjoying this book which is basically Learning to Learn or Make it Stick but for a specific goal.

I have also added the audiobook Holidays on Ice by David Sedaris to keep me company while I walk or clean.

WHAT DID I RECENTLY FINISH?

I finished The Day the World Came to Town: 9/11 in Gander, Newfoundland. Goodness, this book was amazing. The power of humans to give and give never stops amazing me.

I also finished In a Holidaze which was a cute holiday read!

I haven’t decided yet! It will certainly include Middle Grade and, probably, some Christmas Books!

Tell me, please! What’s on your WWW?

  1. I finished some light novels (two reviewed, one to review with a sort of matching one in a few days), so i’m reading one called The Arctic Curry Club which is fun and well-written, and I’m also reading How to Read Water which is fascinating but slightly heavy going. Next is Craig Revel-Horwood’s autobiography, to go with the ending of Strictly Come Dancing in a week and a bit!
