Thanks, as always, goes to Sam @ Taking on a World of Words for hosting the meme that keeps my TBR under some semblance of control. Awe, who am I kidding, this meme is the only thing helping me stay organized every week. If you want to participate, feel free! The more the merrier (and the bigger my TBR becomes). All you have to do is answer the Three W’s:

  • What did you recently finish?
  • What are you currently reading?
  • And, what do you think you’ll read next?

CURRENTLY READING

I am nearly finished with Jenny Lawson’s newest book, Broken (in the best possible way). I am listening to the audiobook and really enjoying her stories and insights.

I am probably a quarter into The Huntress and…wow. People have complained that there is too much story so I am waiting to be a bit bored. Not yet though!

And I immediately picked up Josie Watts next book in the Scandal in Sweets series. This romance / mystery is perfect for keeping me company at night while I wait to see whether this is a sleeping night or a not-sleeping night.

WHAT DID I RECENTLY FINISH?

I finished Fish out of Water by Josie Watts and it was so cute. The fact that it was set in a senior apartment complex made me love it so much.

I also finished Aurora’s End by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff. It was….a let down, to be honest. I am still rolling it around in my head for a bit before I post my thoughts but, sigh.

The library has just alerted me that my request to borrow Alan Cumming’s book Baggage, Tales from a Fully Packed Life has been approved! So, as soon as I am finished with Jenny Lawson’s book I will be spending time with Alan.

Tell me, please! What’s on your WWW?

  1. I am sadly listening to Heart of Darkness for school, I’ve tried reading it in the past but given up before the second page so I thought since I have to for school, I’d give the audiobook a try…It’s painful. I do not like this haha. I’m hoping the next book I read will have time to be one of my choosing and not schools!
