Thanks, as always, goes to Sam @ Taking on a World of Words for hosting the meme that keeps my TBR under some semblance of control. Awe, who am I kidding, this meme is the only thing helping me stay organized every week. If you want to participate, feel free! The more the merrier (and the bigger my TBR becomes). All you have to do is answer the Three W’s:

  • What did you recently finish?
  • What are you currently reading?
  • And, what do you think you’ll read next?

CURRENTLY READING

This week I have the cutest romantic comedy on my Kindle. Maid of DisHonor by Gracie Ruth Mitchell is a friends to lovers romance that is perfect for keeping me nice and calm while I head to bed.

I have also picked up Persuasion for the first time this week. I want to read more classics in 2022 and this is one that I had on my list.

Finally, Baggage, Tales from a Fully Packed Life is mine (all mine!) as an audiobook.

WHAT DID I RECENTLY FINISH?

I finished Out on Limb by Josie Watts. This was the second in the Scandal in Sweet Side series. The first book, Fish out of Water, had a great mystery and some fantastic side characters that were missing in this one. It was fun but nothing to shout about.

I also finished Broken (in the best possible way) by Jenny Lawson as an audiobook. It has really stuck with me. My full review is here but, sigh, it certainly made an impression.

Finally, I finished The Huntress by Kate Quinn. This book is my first five-star, holy-crap, wow-that-was-fantastic book of 2022. This book was excellent. I just need to quickly re-read a couple hundred pages for fun and then I will write my review.

The library has just alerted me that my request to borrow Alan Cumming’s book Baggage, Tales from a Fully Packed Life has been approved! So, as soon as I am finished with Jenny Lawson’s book I will be spending time with Alan.

Tell me, please! What’s on your WWW?

Who knows!
