WWW Wednesday was last hosted by MizB at A Daily Rhythm and has found a new home with Sam @ Taking on a World of Words. Just answer the three questions below about how your reading is going this week and leave a link to your post in the comments for others to look at. Don’t forget to check all the other participants. It is the #1 way I keep my TBR overflowing!
The Three Ws are:
What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?
WHAT AM I CURRENTLY READING?
I am looking a little less disorganized this week! I still haven’t gotten some really old books off of this pile but I am feeling quite proud of the fact that I haven’t added any either. I keep picking up books and then stopping myself from starting them – the modicum of self-control will hopefully blossom into full fledged organization this week. Of course, this week is also when WordPress has decided to force me into block editing so….we shall see.
WHAT DID I RECENTLY FINISH READING?

I finished City of Beasts by Isabel Allende this week and, my goodness, I loved this book. The story of Alex accompanying his Grandmother into the Amazon to find the answers to a mysterious beast was thrilling. This coming of age story felt so honest and inspiring – I wish I could be as brave as Alex. I cannot wait to review this one.
WHAT WILL I READ NEXT?

The only book I can say I will certainly read next is the audiobook version of The Three Musketeers. I joined the free trial of Audible months ago and they refuse to let me quit. I keep wanting to quit and you cannot until you pick a book. This month I decided I would get my money’s worth and picked a long book I might never get around to otherwise. I decided on The Three Musketeers which is a whopping 34 hours – certainly the longest audiobook I have ever read. We shall see how it goes!
Tell me, please! What’s on your WWW?
I loved The Silent Patient….and your books remind me that I have The Dutch House still waiting unread. Soon!

Using audiobooks for lenghty classics one might not otherwise read is a pretty good idea. There are so many I feel I should read, but have no drive to. This would be a great compromise. Have a great week!

The City of the Beasts sounds so good – I’m glad you enjoyed it! I’m not a big audiobook person, but I did listen to Emma recently on audiobook when I didn’t want to finish it physically – it seems like a good strategy!
