Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. I love participating because it is always fun to comb through my books. This week’s prompt is: Books I Want to Read Again. I love re-reading books but it feels like such a guilty pleasure when I have so many that I need to read on my TBR. I should really shelve that sensation and just enjoy the books!

The Illuminae Files by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff. I have these physical books but I listened to them as audiobooks and I would love to pour through them again.

I would love to re-read the classic Nancy Drew mysteries starting with The Secret of the Old Clock. Actually, I think that I might make that read through a 2021 goal…..

I would love to re-read Tuesdays at the Castle by Jessica Day George. I know I read at least two of this series but I would love to start all over again and continue onward. This series is simply magical.

The Winter Sea by Susanna Kearsley was eye opening for me. I had no idea that historical fiction would blend so beautifully with romance (this was long before I read Outlander) and I would love to re-read it and capture that feeling.

Notes on a Nervous Planet by Matt Haig is one of my favorite nonfiction books this year and I am already itching to experience it again.

The Gilded Chain by Dave Duncan is the first book in a series that is only loosely connected, about The King’s Blades. This fantasy story was my obsession when I read it and I would love to sit down with these characters again.

I love Meg Cabot and I recently read a new release of hers, No Offense, and it reminded me just precisely how much I adore this author. My first book of hers was not The Princess Diaries but Size 12 is Not Fat which is still one of my favorites.

Speaking of favorite authors, Sophie Kinsella is big in my book and Twenties Girl is probably my favorite of all of her books. It was too much fun to only read once!
Tell me, please! What book would you love to re-read?
Oh what a good question. I suspect my list would include quite a few classics including George Eliot and Jane Austen.
