Blogmas: December 2

THE PAPER CHAIN

Sometimes those crafts and projects that we did when we were small are the easiest to bring back that feeling of joy. For today’s simple blogmas project I made a paper chain. I used to make these when I was a kid as a physical count down calendar and this year I made it into garlands for around my home.

A small Christmas tree is wrapped in a green and red paper chain

This whole paper chain is just two pieces of paper! I cut the pieces and then sat and listened to my audiobook while assembling a chain. My goal isn’t to make something that is so perfect Martha Stewart would envy it, but rather to sprinkle a little joy all around my house this season. You could even make this out of printer paper!

Tell me, please! What’s a childhood craft that you still love to make at Christmas?
