Frighteningly Good Reads 2021

It’s the best month of the whole year – October! Fall is my absolute favorite. The weather commits to cooler temperatures which means I can get rid of my tired and hated summer wardrobe. The leaves put on a glorious show. My allergies fade away. And all of October leads to the best holiday of them all – Halloween!

I spend my whole month focused on reading spooky books and scary tomes and I invite anyone who wants to do the same to join me. This is the most laid back read-a-thon and follows my own 2021 commitment to Read for Joy. If it feels scary to you it counts as a Frighteningly Good Read, so join in however you want to from October 1 – 31st, 2021.

MY STACK OF CHOICES

These are the books I have been setting aside while sweating all summer. I will also grab whatever comes my way that looks like fun this Fall. If you have any recommendations, let me know!

Tell me, please! Are you planning anything for October?

  1. Yay, you know how much I love this! My ideas are a little thin this year — honestly, everything has just felt spread so thin this year — but I checked out one ebook I’d been saving especially for this occasion, and I’m going to try to put together a little list 🙂 Very excited to see what others come up with 🙂

Thanks for coming up with and hosting this!! Happy October, my allergies are getting better already too!

    1. I’m so happy you are participating again! Don’t worry about the level, it should bring you joy and celebrate the best month of them all – October!

My allergies are doing the same and it makes everything better. To the sweet relief of nature’s winter nap!
