WWW Wednesday: September 21, 2022

Thanks, as always, goes to Sam @ Taking on a World of Words for hosting the weekly meme that keeps my TBR under some semblance of control and keeping the blog schedule organized. Two weeks in a row – let this start a streak!

If you want to participate in WWW, feel free! The more the merrier (and the bigger my TBR becomes). All you have to do is answer the Three W’s:

  • What did you recently finish?
  • What are you currently reading?
  • And, what do you think youโ€™ll read next?

CURRENTLY READING

My Big Summer Book, War and Peace is still rolling along. I just peeked and I am on page 820 – only 500 pages left! If Tolstoy would stop with the chapters about Napoleon and let me have my continuing drama it would probably fly by.

The Once and Future Witches is just sitting there. Poor book.

I am four chapters from finishing The People’s History of the United States and it eye opening.

I have also finally gotten my hands on Lodestar, the fifth in The Keeper of the Lost Cities series. This is the Days of Our Lives of middle grade fantasy.

WHAT DID I RECENTLY FINISH?

What a weird little stack there is here this week.

Native American Myths and Legends was an interesting read. Paired with The Indigenous Peoples’ History of the United States it was enlightening about what the different tribes believes and valued. It was a little repetitive but, goodness knows, so are Greek and Roman Myths. I loved seeing how some matriarchal societies are reflected in their myths.

If the Shoe Fits was fantastic. Honestly, just when I thought I had figured out how everything was going to work out Julie Murphy took me on a totally different ride and I loved it.

Who knows!

Tell me, please! What’s on your WWW?
