Thanks, as always, to Sam @ Taking on a World of Words for this meme that keeps me focused on my current piles instead of looking at the 500 things I have on my Goodreads TBR.

If you want to join in the fun, just answer the three questions below about how your reading is going this week and leave a link to your post in the comments for others to admire. Don’t forgt to check all the other participants. It is the #1 way I keep my TBR overflowing!

WHAT AM I CURRENTLY READING?

I am still listening to The Bloodspell by C.J. Redwine and loving it! I am nearly 60% of the way through the story. It has been rainy here for the past four days so I have been missing my walks and stories but it looks beautiful today so hopefully I will get some miles and some listening done.

I have made no movement on The Haunting of Aveline Jones by Phil Hickes. Truthfully, I put it down somewhere in my house and I just need to find the stack it is in again. Maybe I will listen to Bloodspell while I sort…

I am half way through What Lives in the Woods by Lindsay Currie. After finishing Scritch, Scratch I grabbed up all her books I could find! Her middle grade spooky books are amazing.

WHAT DID I RECENTLY FINISH READING?

This is the only book I finished this week and it was epic. My full review is here but these short story retellings are dark and delightful and were a perfect way to kick of my annual low-key Frighteningly Good Reads for October. If you want to read spooky things this month, join me!

I did manage to get all of my Orilium reviews up this week. I finished all of the prompts! This is huge for me since I have been struggling with back to back book slumps this year. My review for The Highland Falcon Thief, Potkin and Stubbs, and Amari and the Nightbrothers are all up. Whew! This is also new for me since even when I started reading again consistently, I wasn’t reviewing. I’m starting to feel like myself again. Now I just need to be more social.

WHAT WILL I READ NEXT?

I have no idea which book specifically but it will certainly be scary or spooky. I just love Fall and Halloween!

Tell me, please! What’s on your WWW?
