2021 Reading Challenge Wrap Up: Book to Movie Reading Challenge

This reading challenge, hosted at Gather Together and Read, sounds tailor made for me. I am such a sucker for a book to movie adaptation. Was I objectively successful at reading adaptations during 2021? No. No, I was not. But, I will credit this challenge with putting The Chaos Walking Trilogy in my path. Book one, during a Dewey Read-a-thon, is the watershed book that kick started my reading again this year. Thank you Michelle!

Of her fabulous list of 2021 releases, I only managed to read this one book. One book doesn’t sound like much but I was in the throws of back to back reading slumps. This book brought me out of it and this challenge set those wheels in motion. Therefore, I count this challenge as a roaring success.

Tell me, please. How do you define a challenge success?
