WWW Wednesday: June 8, 2022

Ahhh, summer. I have a lot more free time in the next few precious months and I am loving all of it. Admittedly, I started summer as I always start summer – by panicking about the time magically disappearing. This week I find myself finally slowing down and relaxing.

Thanks, as always, goes to Sam @ Taking on a World of Words for hosting the meme that keeps my TBR under some semblance of control and brings me back to blogging.

If you want to participate in WWW, feel free! The more the merrier (and the bigger my TBR becomes). All you have to do is answer the Three W’s:

  • What did you recently finish?
  • What are you currently reading?
  • And, what do you think you’ll read next?

CURRENTLY READING

I ran across Leviathan Wakes at a bookshop this weekend and figured, why not? I tried reading this a few years ago and, honestly, I don’t know what happened. I am only 40 pages or so into the book but I am really enjoying the science fiction world building.

My Big Summer Book, War and Peace is going well. I am sticking to the plan of 15-20 pages a day and that has landed me at page 119 today. Truthfully, I am loving it.

Unwinding Anxiety is still on my “currently reading” shelf but I have made no progress this week. I just need to find a time in the day to dedicate to this one and I have a feeling I will get through it quickly.

Finally, I have Book of the Night as an audiobook. I about an hour in and, like Leviathan Wakes, loving the world building. I need to do some deep cleaning that I put off for too long and this book will keep me company.

WHAT DID I RECENTLY FINISH?

Another long night of insomnia brought me Beauty and the Baller. Weird start and sweet ending. These authors will never know how much their words keep me company in the middle of long nights.

Back to having no idea!

Tell me, please! What’s on your WWW?
