WWW Wednesday: June 22, 2022

This two week hiatus is brought to you by a broken keyboard! My Mac’s keyboard and trackpad just stopped working and, after trying everything the internet suggested, I finally had to buy an external keyboard. Sigh.

Thanks, as always, goes to Sam @ Taking on aWorld of Words for hosting the meme that keeps my TBR under some semblance of control and brings me back to blogging.

If you want to participate in WWW, feel free! The more the merrier (and the bigger my TBR becomes). All you have to do is answer the Three W’s:

  • What did you recently finish?
  • What are you currently reading?
  • And, what do you think you’ll read next?

CURRENTLY READING

I am listening to The Organized Mind by Daniel J. Levitin. I need some help in this regard especially since I cannot seem to stay on track with my reading stacks. It is a bit more than I bargained for as I was just hoping for tips on how to stop letting the internet take over my life. I am nearly 40% into the book and the author is still just talking about the many many ways the internet has become part of everyday life. Sir, we know.

My Big Summer Book, War and Peace is still going well. Still loving it.

I joined a new bookclub and their June read is We Do This ‘Tis We Free Us by Mariame Kaba. I have a lot of reading to do to have it done before bookclub.

Unwinding Anxiety is still on my “currently reading” shelf but I have made no progress, again, this week. Truthfully, I forget about it until I post my WWW.

The library took Book of the Night away from me. I am waiting for its return. Hopefully, I won’t forget what is going on within the story in the meantime.

WHAT DID I RECENTLY FINISH?

I finished Leviathan Wakes which I absolutely loved. I cannot wait to pick up the next book in the series. My buddy and I meet tonight to discuss our thoughts and then I hope to have a post up.

Back to having no idea!

Tell me, please! What’s on your WWW?

  1. I’m all behind again! I was reading Black, Listed by Jeffrey Boakye and about to start Elton John’s Me and now I’ve finished Black, Listed and am glommed into Elton, unable to lift my eyes from the page!
